About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Community Health is seeking a Managed Care Services & Commercial Attorney (Level 4) to provide expert legal analysis and guidance on complex issues affecting the agency. Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth legal analysis and issue recommendations on matters within the agency’s scope.
• Handle complex legal issues related to managed care services and commercial contracts.
• Act as a lead attorney and supervise support staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state laws, regulations, and departmental policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the Department of Community Health’s objectives.

Required profile

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.
• License to practice law in Georgia, or eligibility to sit for the Georgia Bar exam within one year of hiring.
• Three (3) years of relevant legal experience, or equivalent experience at the Attorney 3 level.
