Make-Ready Technician (Broadstone Toscano)

About the role

Ensures vacant units meet quality standards for re‑leasing by performing technical and mechanical work, turning apartment homes into market‑ready condition that meets Greystar’s occupancy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move‑in following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace it.
• Perform touch‑up painting for vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑cutting programs by fixing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Complete make‑ready checklist and required maintenance documentation in a timely manner.
• Follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete OSHA training.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift 25 lb independently and 50 lb with assistance.
• Work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and on‑call duties.
• Attend routine safety meetings and complete required training.
