Make-Ready Specialist (Lakesound)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Make-Ready Specialist to prepare vacant apartments for new residents at its Lakesound community. You will ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards and is market‑ready in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements listed on the community’s make‑ready checklist before new move‑ins.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervisor direction.
• Assist with general cleaning of grounds, common areas, breezeways, and pool areas, including pressure‑washing and painting curbs or signage.
• Document completed work and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet turnover deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to Greystar’s quality standards.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Customer‑service mindset, treating residents and team members with respect.
