Make Ready Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Make Ready Specialist to prepare vacant apartments for new residents at our Austin community. The role involves performing a range of maintenance and finishing tasks to ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards before re‑leasing.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements on vacant units following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under the direction of the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assist with maintaining common areas and amenities, including trash removal and pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas.

Required profile

• Ability to follow the community’s make‑ready checklist and work under supervision of the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.

Required skills

• Caulking and sealing of fixtures.
• Sheetrock inspection and repair/replacement.
• Touch‑up painting.
• Pressure washing of exterior surfaces.
