Maintenance Technician – The Orchard

About the role

The Orchard community is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the building, grounds, amenities and common areas are clean, safe, functional and meet Greystar’s high standards. This full‑time, onsite position works Tuesday to Saturday, providing prompt service to residents and maintaining the property’s overall appearance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to keep building systems operating efficiently.
• Complete the “make‑ready” process, preparing vacant apartments for new occupants by addressing all necessary repairs and cleaning.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures and prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical and electrical repair skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with make‑ready procedures for apartment turnover.
