Maintenance Technician – The Louise 4900

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Louise 4900 property in Los Angeles. The role focuses on maintaining the building’s physical aspects, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality for residents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs according to policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing material waste.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday with on‑call and weekend duties as needed.
• Eligibility for a 20% housing discount.
