Maintenance Technician – The Henley

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies and code.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and final inspections.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools, track usage, and reorder as needed.
• Assist with grounds upkeep, cleaning, pressure‑washing, and minor painting tasks.
• Inspect contractor work and conduct routine property inspections to identify safety concerns.

Required profile

• Comply with Greystar safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete OSHA training.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and respond to on‑call duties.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart where applicable.
