Maintenance Technician – The Elliott

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of The Elliott property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position works Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts, minimizing waste, and using tools correctly.
