Maintenance Technician – The Boulevard

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property – buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time, onsite role supports residents and prepares vacant units for new move‑ins.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal and minor painting tasks.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart where applicable.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• EPA refrigerant recycling certification (Type 1, Type 2 or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license.
