Maintenance Technician – Rivers Edge

About the role

The Maintenance Technician at Rivers Edge is responsible for ensuring that the building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite role supports resident satisfaction and property performance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance across the property.
• Diagnose mechanical or technical issues, determine root causes, and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Carry out the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for new tenants, including pre‑move‑in inspections and necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical manuals, and safety guidelines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
