Maintenance Technician (Rise, CA)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s property team in Rise. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and completing all necessary repairs.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of property maintenance experience.
• Hands‑on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekend and on‑call availability.
