Maintenance Technician – Palisade UTC

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Palisade UTC property in San Diego. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and pool systems.
• Respond to work orders and emergency calls, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and parts usage.
• Assist with inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage inventory of supplies.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience.
• Ability to work Sunday‑Thursday, 9 am‑6 pm, with on‑call and weekend availability.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• HVAC certification.
• EPA 608 certification (preferred).
• Pool Operator Certification (CPO) – preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification – preferred.
• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, Leo247, Happy Co, HD Supply.
