Maintenance Technician – Northshore

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of its Northshore property meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them per safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools, track usage, and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, and painting as required.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance with quality standards and participate in routine property safety inspections.

Required profile

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license (required for golf‑cart operation on larger properties).
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lb unaided and 50 lb with assistance, and working in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on call.

Required skills

• EPA refrigerant recycling certification (Type 1, Type 2, or Universal).
• Preventive maintenance and make‑ready procedures.
• Inventory tracking and basic procurement.
