Maintenance Technician – Midtown 5

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Midtown 5 high‑rise property. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas remain clean, safe and fully functional, supporting resident satisfaction and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and timely for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever feasible.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience performing building maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and adhere to code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory and documentation.
