Maintenance Technician – Marion Lake (Savannah, GA)

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in accordance with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work a rotating on‑call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• EPA Type 1 and Type 2 or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
