Maintenance Technician – Los Angeles, CA

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in Los Angeles. The role focuses on ensuring that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. You will work directly with residents and the facilities team to maintain high‑quality living environments.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance across the property.
• Diagnose the source of defects or problems and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Respond to on‑call duties as required to address urgent maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in HVAC systems.
• Relevant certifications such as HVAC or CPA preferred.
• Willingness to work on‑call schedule.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and ability to follow safety procedures.
