Maintenance Technician – La Terraza

About the role
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep of the La Terraza community in San Jose. This full‑time position ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to resident‑generated work orders and perform corrective repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems, diagnosing the source of defects and addressing them promptly.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for new lease‑ups and move‑ins.
- Provide on‑call support once every three weeks as required by the schedule.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in property or building maintenance.
- Availability to work Sunday through Thursday with on‑call duties.
- Ability to work onsite at the San Jose location.
- Full‑time commitment.
Required skills
- Diagnostic troubleshooting of mechanical and building systems.
- Preventative maintenance procedures.
