Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Georgia. The role involves skilled and semi‑skilled work to keep college facilities, equipment and grounds operating safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain electrical and plumbing systems across campus buildings.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units and conduct diagnostic checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Construct, renovate, relocate and repair fixtures, furniture, equipment and bulk items.
• Maintain fire alarm, sprinkler and security systems, and inspect automatic doors.
• Keep grounds free of debris and trash, and coordinate with custodial staff as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a skilled trade or building maintenance.
• Ability to obtain a valid Georgia driver’s license for required vehicles.
• Strong background in construction and painting.
