Maintenance Technician – Indigo 19

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the physical condition of its Indigo 19 property. The role ensures that apartments, common areas, grounds, and amenities meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and minor painting tasks.
• Inspect contractor work to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and promptly report accidents or incidents.

Required profile

• EPA Type 1, Type 2, or Universal refrigerant recycling certification (or ability to obtain).
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart where applicable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to respond to on‑call duties.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
