Maintenance Technician III – Advanced Plant Maintenance

About the role

Pyrotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to ensure the safe and optimal operation of plant and production equipment. The role involves performing installations, advanced preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a wide range of industrial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery, industrial vehicles and equipment, including cleaning, lubricating and fluid replenishment.
• Diagnose and resolve reported equipment issues quickly, recording work order status and communicating outcomes.
• Perform general plant upkeep such as painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
• Lead equipment installations, modifications and relocations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Execute electrical maintenance, including wiring, sensor and actuator troubleshooting up to 480 V 3‑phase.
• Carry out mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, interpret blueprints and perform basic welding, cutting and fabrication.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least six years of maintenance and repair experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical certifications or proven experience with HVAC, electrical systems, welding and CNC machining.
