Maintenance Technician (Electrical) – Night Shift with $2,500 Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician you will ensure the operation of industrial and packaging machinery by performing preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting PLCs, and improving equipment functionality and safety. The position works the night shift (7 pm‑7 am) on a rotating weekly schedule with every other weekend off.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and electrical systems to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain safe working order of machinery and adhere to safety standards.
• Follow quality procedures to support zero‑defect and zero‑waste goals.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military or related environment, or a two‑year technical degree.
• Willingness to work night shift and rotating schedule.

Required skills

• Knowledge of bearings, conveyors, sprockets, power transmissions, chains, basic pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of Ohm’s law, series and parallel circuits, motor connections, AC/DC motors and transformers.
• PLC troubleshooting and electrical component identification.
• Welding (stick/MIG) and gas‑cutting techniques with proper PPE.
• Lubrication practices, oil sampling and analysis.
