Maintenance Technician – Cielo Point

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Cielo Point community in Lauderhill, Florida. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and well‑presented.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections and preparing units for new move‑ins.
• Maintain the property’s garden‑style assets, ensuring the 302‑unit community meets Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance and safety.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule in addition to a Monday‑Friday work week.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders and maintenance procedures.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and compliance with applicable codes.
• Flexibility to respond to on‑call duties as needed.
