Maintenance Technician – Cape Cod

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its Cape Cod property team in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The role focuses on ensuring that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete assigned work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the property to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, and preparing apartments for new occupants.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of building systems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow safety protocols.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and team members.
