About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Avenue 34 community in Los Angeles. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and presentable.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to resident work orders and complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose the source of defects and resolve issues in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Ensure all areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance and safety.

Required profile

  • 1‑2 years of experience in property or building maintenance.
  • Availability to work weekends, typically 9 am – 6 pm.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and adhere to regulatory codes.
  • Strong problem‑solving attitude and customer‑service focus.
