Maintenance Technician – Arrowhead Pointe

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas at Arrowhead Pointe meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues from work orders, adhering to safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Perform routine grounds and amenity upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, and painting of curbs and signage.

Required profile

• Compliance with Greystar safety policies, including OSHA training and timely incident reporting.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb independently or 50 lb with assistance.
• Flexibility to take on‑call duties during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1, Type 2 or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Proficiency in preventative maintenance and make‑ready procedures for residential units.
• Experience with inventory tracking and basic use of maintenance tools and equipment.
