Maintenance Technician – Arcadia at Symphony Park

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Arcadia at Symphony Park community. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all work orders and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing waste of materials.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in residential properties.
• Experience with make‑ready procedures and coordinating vendor services.
• Strong attention to detail for inventory tracking and documentation.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and regulatory standards.
