Maintenance Technician – 5115 Park Place

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee technical and mechanical work for the 5115 Park Place property, a mid‑rise, stabilized community of 276 units in Charlotte. The role ensures that interiors, exteriors, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and complete all resident‑initiated work orders while adhering to safety, code, and budget requirements.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with policies and quality specifications.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies within budgetary limits.

Required profile

• Experience managing maintenance operations for multi‑unit residential properties.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, schedule work, and track inventory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and regulatory standards.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, team members, and external service providers.
