Maintenance Team Leader

About the role

Join Nestlé USA’s production team as a Maintenance Team Leader, overseeing equipment performance and supporting mechanics to maximize production efficiency. This onsite position works in a food manufacturing environment with rotating 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily activities of maintenance staff and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Assist in training employees on equipment, CMM systems, and safety procedures.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and equipment upgrades during start‑ups, changeovers, and new installations.
• Track equipment performance, request parts, and manage spare‑parts inventory.
• Coordinate shift handovers, maintain cleanliness, and plan crew levels.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on equipment and employee performance and suggest cost‑control improvements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; two‑year trade school program in electrical or electronics.
• Three years of experience with electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, machining, or plumbing.
• Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, and rotating shifts.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and technical documents.
