Maintenance Supervisor – Volta on Pine Community

About the role

This role oversees and performs technical and mechanical work to ensure that the interior and exterior of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas at the Volta on Pine community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final inspections.
• Develop and maintain standards for the community’s grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces to reflect Greystar’s quality expectations.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, working with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks and support budgeting for repair, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Conduct safety meetings, keep MSDS sheets current, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in property management or a related trade.
• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi and Happy Co.
• EPA Type I and II (or Universal) certification for handling refrigerants.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lb independently and 50 lb with assistance.
