Maintenance Supervisor – The Sagewood

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Sagewood, a 278‑unit garden‑style community in Charlotte, NC. The role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance activities to ensure the property’s interior and exterior areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident service requests and routine upkeep.
• Diagnose defects or problems, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and building codes.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process, preparing vacant apartments for new lease‑ups and move‑ins.
• Manage a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours maintenance needs.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff to maintain consistent service quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagnose issues and execute repairs safely.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and willingness to work a rotating on‑call schedule.
