About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. This full‑time position is based in Nashville, Tennessee and supports the lease‑up phase of a 320‑unit mid‑rise property.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to maintain building systems and common areas.
• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose defects, and complete repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections and preparation for new move‑ins.
• Ensure routine upkeep of the community, coordinating with on‑call schedules as needed.
• Maintain documentation of work performed and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability, Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical or building‑related issues.
• Familiarity with property maintenance standards, safety protocols, and local code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high appearance standards.
