Maintenance Supervisor – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor leads safe and efficient maintenance activities across manufacturing, utilities, and building systems. This role drives proactive planned maintenance, coaching teams on loss elimination, risk management, and life‑cycle asset management while fostering a Continuous Improvement and Zero Loss culture.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the factory to reduce technical stoppages, prioritizing high‑impact areas and ensuring systematic review of critical lines, processes, and utilities.
• Monitor equipment trends, propose and track KPIs, and refine maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime.
• Oversee repairs/modifications from gap assessments, ensure on‑time work order execution, and maintain accurate job, material, and service planning.
• Train, coach, and assess mechanics on Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and TPM methodologies.
• Collaborate with corporate engineers, suppliers, and contractors, manage technical stores, scheduled work orders, labor allocation, and equipment BOM while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Reliability Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, technical, or military environments; 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Willingness to work rotating 12‑hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and extreme ambient conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo) with ability to mine and analyze data for trends.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
