Maintenance Supervisor – Katy Sunterra

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee technical and mechanical work for the Eden at Sunterra community in Katy. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in policy manuals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential or community maintenance supervision.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and implement effective repairs.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventories and vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building codes and Greystar’s operational policies.
