Maintenance Supervisor for The Range on Oleander Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of The Range on Oleander community, including grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time position works a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ordering as needed while staying within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with budgeting for repairs, maintenance and capital projects.
• Lead safety meetings, keep MSDS sheets current, and stay up‑to‑date on OSHA and other safety regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience; experience in property or building maintenance.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• Strong logical problem‑solving skills and effective customer service communication.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets and database programs; property management system experience preferred.

Required skills

• EPA Type I & II or Universal HVAC certification.
• Hand and power tool operation.
• Mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Property management software (preferred).
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
