Maintenance Supervisor – Caraway West End

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor for Caraway West End ensures that all building interiors, exteriors, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory responsibilities to keep the community operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve resident service requests and routine maintenance issues in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Lead the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and scope specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ordering as needed while staying within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in company manuals.
• Support the Community Manager with inventory control, supply ordering, and other operational tasks.

Required profile

• Proven ability to diagnose mechanical or building defects and perform repairs according to established policies and safety codes.
• Experience overseeing make‑ready processes and coordinating vendors for unit turnover.
• Capability to develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for residential communities.
• Strong inspection skills for both internal staff work and external contractor performance.
• Ability to manage inventory, order supplies, and adhere to budgetary guidelines.
