Maintenance Supervisor – 2nd Shift

About the role

As a Maintenance Supervisor on the second shift, you will lead all maintenance activities that keep the plant’s manufacturing, processing, packaging and utility systems running efficiently. You will mentor the maintenance team, drive loss elimination, manage risk, and support a proactive planned‑maintenance program.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the factory to reduce technical stoppages, prioritising high‑impact equipment and processes.
• Monitor equipment trends, propose KPIs and implement best‑practice maintenance to minimise both planned and unplanned downtime.
• Own job planning, material and service validation, and ensure high‑quality execution of repairs and modifications.
• Lead documentation of equipment history, damage codes and root‑cause analysis.
• Develop and coach a network of factory subject‑matter experts in reliability programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality and external partners to meet plant needs.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with hands‑on equipment maintenance.
• Direct management experience of mechanics or maintenance teams.
• Strong technical and leadership abilities, able to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.

Required skills

• TPM / PM pillar tools (Breakdown Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance).
• Predictive maintenance technologies such as infrared, ultrasonic and vibration analysis.
• CMMS systems experience (SAP, Maxim) with data mining for trend analysis.
• Knowledge of food‑safety regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of cost drivers in manufacturing maintenance.
