About the role

Infosys is seeking a Mainframe Developer to join its Communications, Media, and Technology (CMT) unit in Richardson, Texas. The role focuses on delivering and modernizing mainframe‑based solutions for clients in the telecom, media, and technology sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements as part of the elicitation process.
• Participate in design discussions, capture design decisions, and guide the technical team.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features or updates into existing mainframe applications while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes, and maintain software quality standards.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth transitions.
• Resolve production issues promptly and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques, and support activities for knowledge sharing.

Required profile
