Machine Operator – Brazing Specialist III (3rd Shift)

About the role

Join Bosch's Lincolnton Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center as a Machine Operator – Brazing Specialist III. You will support the startup and implementation of a new brazing production line, gaining hands‑on experience with the process and helping to develop local work instructions and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the startup and implementation of the brazing operation on a new production line.
• Learn the brazing process first‑hand and assist in creating work instructions and standards.
• Communicate actively with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and other related departments.
• Train, monitor and provide feedback to new production associates on the assigned shift.
• Load, unload, operate, adjust, change‑over and maintain multiple machines while conducting 5S activities.
• Reach daily production targets and promptly escalate any deviations.
• Travel overseas for extended training periods.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; technical or vocational schooling is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience with brazing processes or similar manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime.
• Physical ability to stand, be mobile for 8 hours and lift up to 40 lb.
• Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Brazing processes (3‑5 years experience).
• Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Machine operation, set‑up using hand tools and measuring devices.
• Reading and interpreting product prints and standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshooting and basic maintenance of production equipment.
