Long-term Customer Training Internship

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a multi‑semester intern to join its Customer Training team in Grand Prairie, TX. The intern will evaluate business processes, spot inefficiencies, and design innovative solutions using the new Google platform to enhance operations within the Customer Training Department.

Key responsibilities

• Identify system integration deficiencies and cross‑platform challenges.
• Recommend automation for manual tasks and optimise the visual scheduling platform.
• Review Wi‑Fi access compared with local university standards.
• Align the Concur travel platform with customer requirements in collaboration with Accounting/BCD.
• Evaluate the training course outline against technical college curricula.
• Support data‑governance and compliance initiatives.
• Propose solutions to optimise business operations.
• Assist in improving collection and retention of customer information and training documentation.
• Review sample online courses.
• Provide outstanding customer service to visitors and assist the administration team with service‑oriented tasks.

Required profile

• Local resident attending a university in the DFW metro area for a multi‑semester, onsite internship.
• High school diploma and currently enrolled in a relevant university degree program.
• Proven customer‑service experience.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse backgrounds and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Detail‑oriented with a big‑picture perspective.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web‑based applications.
