Key responsibilities
- Map the long‑term care policy landscape and author a flagship policy paper with actionable recommendations.
- Support ESP’s health‑care platform by drafting memos, briefs, and talking points that embed LTC into broader reform arguments.
- Represent ESP in coalition spaces, build new partnerships, and contribute to a major convening of LTC experts in year two.
- Produce a second, campaign‑facing research product or policy brief in the second year.
Required profile
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience in economics, law, sociology, public policy, or a related field.
- 3–10 years of experience in policy research, analysis, or advocacy, preferably in health care, aging, or economic security.
- Strong analytical and writing abilities, with capacity to translate research into clear policy recommendations.

- Self‑directed, able to manage a multi‑year research project with minimal day‑to‑day oversight.
What we offer
- Compensation of $80,000 per year (contract position without benefits).
- Fully remote work arrangement.
