Logistics Coordinator I

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join its U.S. Manufacturing facility in Mobile, AL. You will support the Single‑Aisle Final Assembly Line by coordinating line‑side material feed and managing the Logistics Service Provider interface to ensure seamless production and uphold Airbus quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite material flow to the production line, providing line‑side support and tracking delivery status.
• Identify supply chain disruptions, manage missing parts lists, and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve processes.
• Prioritize high‑urgency reorders for non‑conforming material, handle part reassignments, and oversee scrap and return processes.
• Act as the focal point for Logistics Service Providers and on‑site support partners.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Information Systems to ensure compliance with Airbus standards and health‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
• 0‑2 years of experience in supply chain, physical logistics or material management, preferably in aviation manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to identify root causes of disruptions and implement stable solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to work in multicultural teams.
• Physical ability to work on‑site in an active aircraft final assembly line, including walking, standing and wearing required PPE.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of physical logistics processes.
• Familiarity with logistics IT tools.
• Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Understanding of quality/environmental standards such as ISO 14001.
