About the role
Intralox, a division of Laitram, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support internal and external customers, vendors, and governmental agencies. The role ensures smooth logistics operations and compliance for both domestic and international shipments.
Key responsibilities
- Select and manage the most effective logistics providers for scheduled shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and brokers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
- Communicate shipment status to Customer Service and customers.
- Track and trace international and domestic shipments, resolving audit or inquiry delays.
- Enter shipment data into carrier systems and confirm carrier assignments.
- Perform end‑of‑day system closeouts and package/transport goods to workstations.
- Weigh, label, and record order information in the computer system.
- Safely operate woodworking tools, lift equipment, and strapping devices.
- Work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as required.
Required profile
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in logistics, preferably with international shipments.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
