Litigation Evaluation Paralegal

About the role

Tech Americas is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Litigation Evaluation Paralegal to support a U.S.-based legal team during the early stages of employment litigation. The position is full-time, entry level and 100% onsite. Candidates must have advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher); applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth client consultations to gather information on potential employment law claims.
• Review case facts, supporting documents and client statements related to FEHA (Fair Employment and Housing Act) and Wage & Hour claims.
• Identify missing information, clarify legal concerns and ask appropriate follow-up questions.
• Prepare detailed case summaries ("Snapshots") for review by the Litigation Evaluation Supervisor.
• Assist in evaluating cases to determine whether they should be escalated for litigation.
• Draft legal complaints by organizing relevant facts into standardized legal documents.
• Communicate with clients to review litigation retainer agreements and obtain signatures.
• Maintain accurate case documentation while ensuring confidentiality.

Required profile

• Background in legal studies, legal assistance, paralegal work or litigation support.
• Ability to conduct client interviews and gather relevant information.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and follow established legal procedures.
• Knowledge of U.S. employment law, FEHA or Wage & Hour claims is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced written and spoken English (C1-C2).
• Strong legal writing and documentation skills.
