Limited X‑Ray Technician / Medical Assistant

About the role

The Limited Purpose X‑Ray Technician and Medical Assistant will perform patient imaging using radiology equipment and support clinical staff. The role includes clear communication with clinicians and assistance with office administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire required patient images using radiographic technology.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with clinicians regarding imaging results.
• Assist with office administrative duties and provide coverage for Medical Assistants.
• Help physicians with procedures and tasks in exam rooms.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience as an X‑Ray Technician in a medical practice.
• Current California AART certification.
• Knowledge of current radiological standards and ability to assist physicians.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to pass background checks.

Required skills

• Current AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• Understanding of radiology standards and imaging protocols.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using Athena or similar electronic health record systems.
