Licensed Psychologist

About the role

We are hiring a Licensed Psychologist to join our soon‑to‑open Boston, MA clinic as part of an interdisciplinary team delivering personalized, compassionate, high‑quality care for individuals living with severe mental illness (SMI). The position is employed by Amae Health and will provide services in a clinic owned and operated by Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patients, including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar I disorder, and treatment‑resistant depression.
• Offer continuous, regular support as patients navigate recovery, both in‑person and occasionally via virtual sessions.
• Deliver evidence‑based care within a holistic, wrap‑around care model that integrates psychiatry, primary care, dietetics and community health workers.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary patient‑care teams to coordinate treatment plans and monitor progress.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Massachusetts.
• Experience providing psychotherapy to adults with severe mental illness.
• Ability to work within an integrated, team‑based outpatient setting.
• Willingness to engage in both in‑person and occasional virtual patient interactions.
