About the role

Join the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Georgia Regional Hospital in Decatur. Key responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Transcribe and verify medication and treatment orders.
• Assist registered nurses with routine nursing duties and patient care activities.
• Observe, document, and report patient behavior and condition changes.
• Work flexible shifts, including 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM schedules.

Required profile

• Current Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• High school diploma/GED plus completion of an approved LPN program, or a vocational/technical degree with a valid Georgia LPN license.
• Ability to pass state and national background checks.
