Licensed Practical Nurse – General Medical Clinic

About the role

This position provides direct patient care, including IV therapy, for assigned patients under the direction of a registered nurse. The LPN will also guide ancillary nursing staff and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, personalized care.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to gather data, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Deliver comprehensive care addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and co‑workers to ensure a positive experience.
• Adapt quickly to changing unit demands and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain required clinical knowledge, credentials, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and delegation skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
