Licensed Plumber (Commercial Installations)

About the role

Alliance Group is looking for a Licensed Plumber to join its Install team in North Clarendon, VT. The position is field‑based and involves commercial plumbing installations, routine maintenance, inspections, and support for commercial HVAC service tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform plumbing installations and repairs using hand, plumbing and power tools (pro‑press, threading, soldering, etc.).
• Inspect and test systems to ensure compliance with code, safety standards and project specifications.
• Lead a small crew, manage daily reports, material orders and maintain project schedules.
• Assist with service tasks for commercial HVAC equipment, including boilers and chillers.
• Provide clear communication to customers about issues, timelines and resolutions.

Required profile

• Active journeyman or master plumbing license.
• OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints, as‑builts and specifications; identify RFIs.
• 2+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; reliable, proactive problem‑solver.

Required skills

• Hand tools, plumbing tools and power tools.

• Blueprint and specification reading.
• OSHA 10 (and OSHA 30) safety standards.
• Active plumbing license; rigging certification; NH/VT gas license (preferred).
