Licensed HVAC Technician – Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, licensed HVAC Technician to perform installations, repairs, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on residential and commercial properties. The role involves responding to service calls, supporting seasonal maintenance, and ensuring system reliability and tenant comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation units.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to airflow, thermostats, refrigerant, mechanical components, and electrical systems.
• Perform seasonal tune‑ups and preventative maintenance to maximize performance.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and ensure all work complies with local, state, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate service logs, material usage records, and repair documentation.
• Collaborate with property managers, maintenance teams, and other contractors as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience servicing residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid Maryland HVAC license (Journeyman or Master level) and EPA 608 certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, own tools, and ability to carry liability insurance if working as 1099.
• Familiarity with housing authority or supportive housing environments is preferred.

Required skills

• Airflow, thermostat, refrigerant, and electrical system diagnostics.
• Experience with ductless mini‑split systems and smart thermostats.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and refrigerant handling.
• Use of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
