Legislative Intern – Georgia Judicial Council

About the role

Join the Judicial Council/Administrative Office of the Courts as a Legislative Intern for the 2027 Georgia General Assembly session. You will support the Office of Governmental Affairs & Trial Court Liaison by monitoring and tracking legislation that impacts the state’s judicial branch.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and take notes at committee meetings and legislative sessions, providing concise summary reports.
• Generate bill summary reports and assist in tracking relevant legislation.
• Support the Office of Governmental Affairs & Trial Court Liaison with research and monitoring tasks.
• Perform other duties as required to support the Judicial Council’s legislative activities.

Required profile

• Currently a junior, senior, graduate, law student, or recent graduate.
• Eligible to receive academic credit for the internship.
• Available to work up to 28 hours per week between January and April, with flexible daily hours.
• Ability to work both onsite and virtually with minimal supervision.

Required skills
